2¼ cups | 1⅛ cup | all-purpose flour |
1 tsp. | ½ tsp. | baking soda |
1 tsp. | ½ tsp. | salt |
½ cup | ¼ cup | butter, softened |
½ cup | ¼ cup | peanut butter |
¾ cup | ⅜ cup | sugar |
¾ cup | ⅜ cup | firmly packed brown sugar |
1 tsp. | 1/2 tsp. | vanilla extract |
2 eggs | 1 egg | |
12 oz. (2 cups) |
6 oz. (1 cup) |
chocolate chips (or carob chips) |
1 cup | ½ cup | chopped pecans |
Combine flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
In large bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Beat in eggs.
Gradually add flour mixture; mix well. Stir in chocolate chips (and optional pecans).
Drop by rounded measuring teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes.
